Meandering Among the Markers: Writing & Reflection Workshops

Meandering Among the Markers: Writing & Reflection Workshops Begin your morning with stillness, story, and self-discovery. Meandering Among the Markers is a 90-minute writing and reflection workshop held in the serene spaces of Hollywood Cemetery. These small-group sessions invite you to explore your inner landscape through quiet observation, poetic expression, and personal reflection—guided by symbols, epitaphs, and the language of memory. Each session offers space to: Observe and interpret visual symbols on a selected grave Reflect on poetic language and write your own short pieces Engage in optional sharing with gentle prompts like “Today I miss…” or “Today I remembered…” Inspired by morning light and mindful pacing, these workshops are designed for those seeking a creative, contemplative experience. It is recommended to bring a notebook, an open heart, and a willingness to pause.
